The Red Desert Dance
Company

Performing at Rakkasah, the largest 3-day belly dance festival in the

Maskmaking Workshop
No workshops are currently scheduled. Contact Marie if you are
interested in setting up a group workshop. Minimum age is 10 years
old.

This exploration of self is an opportunity to create and liberate
your inner self. Private sessions can be pre-arranged by

9 years of leading the 4th of July Parade in Redwood City (the biggest
4th of July parade this side of the Mississippi...go figure!)
The Red Desert Dancers will once again be participating in the 4th of July parade along with the Raqs Sharqui band and guest dancers. Contact Marie if you wish to participate or need more information.
5 years of producing, directing and performing at the San Carlos Fine Arts Festival
Director of Red Desert Dance Company: a troupe consisting of beginner, intermediate and advanced performers bringing dance and music to different venues.
Member of: Troupe Ya'Sahlem, Celebration Dancers, Lumiere (winners of duet performance 1996), Troupe Zambalita and New Moon Rising. Within this collection of dancing I've had the pleasure of performing at Rakassah West, Summer Caravan, Desert Dance, and several other venues as well as teaching and performing in Cozumel.
