For Marie, fine art is a means through which a rich life can be experienced. The inspiration that runs through her work is that to live richly, one must appreciate simple beauty. In her paintings for example, there is an ongoing litany between the movement and color captured in each piece. Any viewer of the work automatically becomes a participant, fully experiencing the emotions it evokes.
Her first client in Taos, New Mexico inspired Marie to market her art and since then, clients seeking art for their homes have privately commissioned her. Her work has been seen and sold in local cafés, as well as art and wine festivals throughout the Bay Area's East Bay and Peninsula.
Her new creations, "Goddess in the Garden" collection, has grown during her residence at the Redwood City Art Center and continues to flourish when she opened a new gallery along with 4 other artists.
